Overview
We provide extensive and intentional services on regulatory compliance with the Betting, Control, and Licensing (BCLB). The services include making strategic follow-ups with the BCLB to secure the needed licenses or permits. Operating under the BCLB requires a series of structures such as corporates under the Companies Act, Beneficiary Owners disclosures, and Anti-Money Laundering laws, among others.
Confidential Client: we provided internal operational factors of the Client and made necessary follow-ups to ensure that the Client gets back its license that had already been issued and re-acquired (not suspended) because of a minor difference of opinion.
Confidential Client: we advised structuring a Joint Venture concerning Kenyan, Mauritius, and South African companies. The total transaction deal value was Rands 10 million.
Confidential Client: we advised and structured share disposal by a minority shareholder in a leading betting company in Kenya.
