IP Agent ARIPO & KIPI

Ong’anya Ombo Advocates LLP has been approved by the Kenya Industrial Property Institute (KIPI) and listed as an Intellectual Property Agent (IP Agent) by the African Regional Intellectual Property Organization (ARIPO). This move expands the capabilities of Ong’anya Ombo Advocates LLP to offer intellectual property protection measures in at least 20 of the 22 ARIPO member states.

ARIPO provides regional protection measures such as trademark, patent, utility models, and industrial design. The member countries are Botswana, Cape Verde, Kingdom of Eswatini, The Gambia, Ghana, Kenya, Kingdom of Lesotho, Liberia, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Rwanda, Sao Tome and Principe, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
