Kenya Revenue Authority: advised and offered strategic support during the annual budget and finance bill cycle and also enabling a smooth interaction during intense inquiries from Parliament and Parliamentary Committees. Also, helped in mapping out and developing the necessary strategies for KRA to engage the public and private sector on matters new tax laws or procedures.
Safaricom PLC: advised and engaged as liaison for Safaricom concerning relations with government agencies such as the Competition Authority, and Communication Authority, on various technical and operational factors in the Kenyan market. The services extended to mapping out the application of various laws and how to model the internal or external operations for purposes of ensuring compliance.
Diageo Group: provided stakeholder mapping in the private sector and government agencies/ ministries. The solutions included enabling the understanding of the proposed laws or laws in place with a view of engaging various regulatory bodies to better understand the operations of the company to avoid any misconceived opinions. Also, offered effective parliamentary watch services and liaison services to enhance Client interests.
KCB: enhancing the company’s regulatory compliance and developing various compliance tools such as under the sustainability area – a highly emerging area of practice both locally, regionally, and internationally. Helped in reviewing key policies that are highly impacted by the developing or emerging regulatory framework in Kenya such as Finance, Banking, and Data protection. The services extended to offering stakeholder support that touched on key departments such as information technology, commercial, treasury, and compliance.
